The QPIs are being developed collaboratively with the three Regional Cancer Networks (NCA, SCAN, WOSCAN), Information Services Division (ISD), and Healthcare Improvement Scotland. The aim is to improve survival and patient experience whilst reducing variance and ensuring safe, effective and person-centred cancer care. Each year the SSN analyses and reports the Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs) for Sarcoma in Scotland.
Analysis of QPIs is essential in improving and driving continuous improvement in Sarcoma care.
