To refer a patient to the Scottish Sarcoma MDT please download this referral form (please note this template should be completed electronically), complete and email to the Scottish Sarcoma MDT Coordinator at ggc.scottishsarcomamdt@nhs.scot

The Edinburgh Sarcoma MDT is on a Wednesday between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.  Information on how to refer a patient can be found by clicking on the link provided.

Acknowledgement of referral to the Scottish Sarcoma MDT

Thank you for referring this patient to the Scottish Sarcoma MDT. This takes place weekly on a Monday from 3.45 to 5.30pm through Microsoft Teams (the Coordinator will add you as a member or guest).  The main MDT room is ED002, Education Suite, Level 0, Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (and its telephone number is 0141 301 7282).

Ideally the patient should be presented by someone from the referring team who has met the patient. If this is not possible the patient should be discussed with a member of the local sarcoma team before the MDT.  Patients will only be added for discussion once the referrer has confirmed that they (or their team) will present the patient or the patient has been discussed with the local sarcoma team.

Patients added for discussion before 5pm on Thursday will be discussed the following Monday.

Please also note there is a UK Ewing’s MDT that the Scottish Clinicians participate in and will refer appropriate patients too.
